Implementation Research Launched in Lofa & Montserrado

On January 14, 2023, YOCEl dispatch a team of Youth Researchers as part of the USAID Youth Advance Project to roll out the Implementation Research component of the Project.

The research is aimed at collecting data that can modify and improve the delivery methods of the WRN Curriculum that would effectively develop the skills of youth with zero or basic literacy to create a business and or secure a job in the formal and informal sectors. We want to make decisions on how we can increase and maintain the retention rate of the number of youth who are benefiting from WRN skills training in Montserrado as it is in Lofa county.

This research comes in just after an intensive delivery of a 4-6 month long training for out-of-school youth based on the Work Ready Now (WRN) curriculum. After the training, we are now providing transitional support to out-of-school youth to prove their livelihood.
